Still Sore and an Interview

Two weeks ago, I was invited to play in my hometown's annual Thanksgiving alumni soccer game...

Here we are.. Representing Maple Shade High School Classes of 1990 - 2000 something, one coach, one son, and one cousin..

Something about strapping on my shin guards and hanging with teammates and friends.. I felt like I was a teen again. Uh.. I'm not. In fact, far from it. And I'm still sore. But, it was a blast and well worth the pain.

Did you check out Suzanne Young's fabulous interview with Razorbill President, Ben Shrank? :) It's a goodie and Razorbill rocks!

Happy Wednesday!

How fun! A friend asked me to be a sub in her women's basketball league and I just couldn't do it...I truly think I can't handle all that running anymore!
Good for you! I know soccer is a lot of running too!

So fabulous! I play soccer every Saturday so it's always fun to see people get out there and get back to it (even if it's just for a day).

What a riot! It's a 'good' sore though ... right?! :-)

That does sound like fun! Over Thanksgiving, my family played a little football, and it was a great afternoon. Sometimes I think, you just have to pretend you're a kid again. :)

I agree, Alyssa!! You don't realize how much you miss it until you're back in the game. :)

Used to play outdoor but co-ed got really physical (I dislocated a rib!) and I'm only playing indoor, still co-ed, now.
