Pretty Tough Tuesdays

Today, I'm over at Pretty Tough blogging about the Softball College World Series. I can't wait to watch the series this weekend! :)

Speaking of weekends, I had a great one. Well, besides yesterday when I spent most of the day working. But, on Saturday after the SCREWBALL book signing, I met up with some high school buds in my hometown and celebrated our 'unofficial' thirteenth reunion. We had a great time and it was wonderful to catch up with everyone after so many years. I grew up in a small town in New Jersey and graduated with about one hundred and twenty classmates. Most of us, have known each other since kindergarten, so catching up and seeing everyone's kids, wives, and/or husbands was incredible. Thanks for arranging everything, Amy and Helen! :)

How was your weekend? Anyone out there ever go to a reunion or grow up in a small town? Have a great week! :)

YAY FOR YA MAY GIVEAWAY - Only five more days! The winner will be announced on Sunday, June 1st! :)

Sounds awesome! I think it's brilliant how tied you are with softball.

Sounds like a great weekend.

I did go to my h/s reunion, but I don't think a suburb of 70,000 people counts as a "small town."

And I always seem to run into old boyfriends when I'm at the mall. And look like crap.

Hurrah for great weekends!

I had a reunion of sorts... one of my best friends got married so a bunch of us from college were in town to celebrate and participate in the wedding. I hadn't seen one of my best friends in a year and a half and there were tears of joy when we met up!

My weekend was packed! We went to the baseball game Sunday, but I'm not sure I watched a single play (please forgive me). I had the kids to watch, my friend to talk to, the beer to drink...

Hi, Amy - Me too! I always look like crap and think, I'm only running out for a minute. Urgh. Hope you're enjoying SoCal. :)
